"how was being orienteered?"
well, the first session that i actually wanted to attend, i didn't quite make. walking out of the res, i saw this perfectly nice looking girl and asked her if she was going to school, to which she replied, "yes". i explained that i still didn't know how to get there and that i was just going to tag along if she didn't mind. so tag along i did. until i realised that she wasn't going to the same school. so it takes a great deal of something on my part to say, "y'know... i have a feeling this isn't the right way... not that i think you don't know where you're going.. it's just that... i don't think we actually go to the same school... ha... ha..." so right i was. she stopped in front of the UCL logo. suckity suck suck.
i call my sister and since she went to UCL and lived near my campus, i figured it'd be pretty simple but london isn't the type of city you can say, "yep, go up Q... pass 16th and at 15th, turn left and it's right there". london is more like, "well... if you keep walking along this road with the park on the right side, it'll turn into this other road that looks like it's going to end but it isn't going to end.. just keep going and then when it does actually end, you're going to turn right and there's russell square". so i did get to russell square but 10 minutes before the session ended.
i did make it to enrollment though and i am officially a student, which means i'm also officially in debt. hurray for debt.
